Community
Service Work (CSW)
The
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office provides inmates the
opportunity to participate in a program that assists in cleaning
up the community.
 The
Work Crew program is funded by the Department of Ecology and
the primary function of the Work Crew is to clean up roadside
trash and illegal dumpsites. The inmates participate in other
community projects such as removal of graffiti, landscaping
and assisting in other non-profit programs.
The Work
Crew is a volunteer program for inmate workers in the jail.
The Work Crew program allows inmates to provide a positive
interaction with the community while receiving good time credit.
