Washington State has one of the strictest dangerous dog laws in the nation. It is the owner’s responsibility to control his or her animal. Failure to do so may result in criminal prosecution as well as civil suit.

Volunteers are very important to the animals at JCAS and helps JCAS achieve our goals. You have the option of spending as little as 6 hours a month visiting the shelter or everyday! We can always use the help.

The Bulis Pet Memorial Garden serves as a peaceful resting place for you to spread the ashes of your beloved pet. The Garden is located on Old Fort Townsend Road near Highway 20. It is a natural forested setting with a circular wheelchair accessible trail, benches, native plantings and small parking area.
