Early this morning a series of search warrant services and arrests took place at three residences in Jefferson County. These actions came as a result of a joint investigation conducted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and OPNET(Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team).
Officers, deputies, detectives and investigators from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Port Townsend Police Department, Port Angeles Police Department, Sequim Police Department, U.S. Border Patrol, Washington State Department of Corrections, and OPNET took part in the coordinated activity which resulted in five arrests and the issuance of one citation. Child Protective Services, took custody of minor children found in one of the residences.
Much of the original information, which brought about this investigation, was provided by citizens concerned about suspected narcotics trafficking in their neighborhoods. The investigation revealed extensive methamphetamine trafficking at the three residences.
The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are expected.
Arrested this morning on warrants charging them with delivery of methamphetamines were;
