West Sound Narcotics Search Warrant
October 3, 2003

On Thursday October 3, 2003 the West Sound Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a Search Warrant at a residence in east Jefferson County. WestNET was assisted by patrol deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in serving the warrant. During the execution of the Search Warrant, detectives found in excess of 350 growing marijuana plants. The street value of the marijuana seized is in excess of $350,000.00. Detectives made two arrests at the scene and expect more as the investigation continues.

The West Sound Narcotics Enforcement Team is a multi-jurisdictional narcotics Task Force funded by the United States Department of Justice. The Task Force area of responsibility includes Kitsap and Mason Counties.
