Skip Smith Memorial Fund

At the request of the family of Frank "Skip" M. Smith, Jr., the victim of a fatal shooting in Port Hadlock yesterday, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is announcing the establishment of a memorial fund.

The "Skip Smith Memorial Fund" has been opened at the Port Townsend Branch of Washington Mutual at 419 Kearny Street (360-385-0425). Contributions to the fund may be made at any branch of Washington Mutual. The family has informed those wishing to help that donations would be very much appreciated. Mr. Smith did not have any life insurance.
