Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Self-Reporting Web Site!
NEW!! SELF REPORTING WEB SITE...click link below
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has installed a new web-based crime reporting system to enable citizens to report some misdemeanor crimes. As with most other Western Washington law enforcement agencies, The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has limited manpower due to current budgetary constraints. As such, our ability to respond to some crimes with no suspects, or crimes that are no longer in progress, can no longer be handled with a deputies' response.
The following crimes/incidents should be directed to the following link...
*Fraud/Identity Theft--Obtaining another's personal information to obtain goods or services.
*Harassing Telephone Calls--Unwanted, repeated telephone calls of a harassing or threatening nature.
*Hit and Run Accident--NON-INJURY ONLY, Leaving the scene of an accident without furnishing driver's license, vehicle insurance, or vehicle information.
*Lost/Found Property--When property is lost or found.
*Malicious Mischief--Damage to personal property with no known suspect.
*Theft--Your property is stolen or taken without your permission, with no suspect information. Value not to exceed $1500.
*Traffic Complaints--Reports of speeding vehicles, no longer in progress. Possible DUI or Impaired drivers should be reported immediately to 911.
***After completing your report, the incident will be reviewed, and after approval, you will be furnished the case number via your email address...If you do not have internet access at home or work, you can come to the Sheriff's Office during business hours and make your report via our new internet kiosk.
